About 6 weeks ago had 6(!) Apaches and 3 Chinooks in formation fly about 100ft above my house whilst on exercise....i live near Catterick Garrison. They were at it on and off all day practicing quick insert and takeoff with the Apaches for cover. Made a great sight and some seriously impressive noises. I never get bored of watching them...and the jealousy never gets any better.....
