Salad Dodger,

Chuck Norris
Salad Dodger,
The irony...
Bill Gates. Businessman, visionary, humanitarian. Gets stuff done.
Gordon Brown. And not Just for his leadership. Struggling retailers have been complaining that the government doesn't have a plan for supporting the economy as coherent as the one Gordon Brown had back in 2008.
DD, salad is what food eats.
😀
Pierre Trudeau, together with Jean Chretien and Lloyd Axworthy (all members of the Trudeau Cabinet through the 1970s and early 1980s).
Failing that, Captain Staros from Thin Red Line.
Changed my mind actually. Freddie Starr. We’d still be screwed but would have a riot along the way.
Changed my mind as well....Ken Dodd gets the nod from me. (though maybe not different enough to what we have at present.)
Bob Flemming - fast show fame
Harry Hill - You've got to have a system!
Stalin or General Franco for me
.Ken Dodd gets the nod from me.
Good call, he'd have more cash under the mattress than Rishi Sunak.
And if he doesn't fancy it there's always his dad's dog although it's a little under the weather I believe.
Chuck Norris
Leonard Cohen.
Mr Cadbury's Parrot
Having listened to Angela Merkels' speech to the nation last night I am left wishing we had someone like her in charge. It will be a sad day for the continent when she finally steps down.

She does come across well and seems to want to make things better. There was a piece about Iceland's PM and trying to make the country a better place ( https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-politics-51928882/iceland-pm-katrin-jakobsdttir-on-gdp-or-well-being ), Macron seems to be saying the right things too. It really does feel like we got the shortest of short straws in the UK.
Having watched the Sturgeon press conference and contrasting it with the Johnson press conference
it has to Sturgeon by a mile.
Clear and concise statements vs waffle.
Can we reverse the Act of Union and get them to take over?
Anthony Scaramucci.
And if you watched Peston last night you'll know I'm not joking.
Serious answer, I'd split it.
CV-19 Management, Rory Stewart
Economy - Gordon Brown
Barry Scott with industrial quantities of Cillit Bang
Sprays, wipes, gels, liquids... could probably make it into a milk shake or an enema to really sort sh*t out.
Couple of drops on the back of the wrist or behind the ears...
Bang and the dirt is gone!
Serious answer:
Merkel +1
Has the experience and influence to actually get stuff done and is a trained scientist too.
Theresa May
Willing to do what she is advised and/or act in the country's interest even when she didn't want to personally. Then stick her hand up and take the public blame and retire in peace, without the need to write some god awful smug memoirs or become an after dinner speaker to keep the lights on.
If you asked me 2 months ago if I'd ever be defending TM, I'd have laughed.

You are Boris Johnson and I claim my £5.
PP not cash.
My 7 year old. He's more clued up than the pillock who's in charge 🙄

And she might be looking for a new job soon.
Sturgeon is doing well on this. Smart person who works hard and most importantly wants to understand what she has to make policy on. On top of her brief. Head and shoulders above any other UK politician
New job Scotroutes?
Leo Varadkar
He's good.
Nicola Sturgeon
She is also very good.
I wonder if being the leader of s smaller state, a more concise government and a more personable way of dealing with the voting public is as much to do with it as character.

Matt - Sturgeon is a good mix of being smart, having a bit of savvy and also good values and understanding of the real world. she would shine still if she were UK PM.
I am not a huge SNP fan - but I am a huge Sturgeon fan.
I am not a huge SNP fan – but I am a huge Sturgeon fan.
I quite agree.
But I do think our politicians are a product of the country they serve and the institutions they've wrapped around themselves...
Richard D James would be an insane PM! Would be a good ride, but it would be just as hard to work out when he is being sincere as with the current bloke.
Agree about Sturgeon. I don’t want Scotland to break away, but she deserves her position, and I wish we had someone similar down here.
