From what I gather, while you live there you can bike, swim, run, eat and get online. They have bars too. So unless you can't live without office work or shopping, I think you should be able to manage just fine.

Considered moving to the Caribbean. Once I realised the downgrade in lifestyle, and I couldnt afford to come back without some serious money being stored/made in the UK I gave up.
There more to life than some sun and a beach. Holiday vs real life is often vastly different.
It looks awfully warm and the food is probably foreign.
No but seriously, what kind of work is there in Koh Samui (apart from the obvious)?
