Considering buying one but want to run one for a week first to see if it really is what I want. If this makes sense? Who rents them out though? Everywhere seems to be 'Transits'!
Not the answer you want, but we did a cheap returns deal on a camper hiace in Tasmania last year. I loved the way it drove, especially sideways on dirt! Would recommend it for that. Don't know if maybe there's a camper returns website for the UK?
Could look it up. Basically it would be a do-it-all and weekend vehicle (and potentially the only car in the house)/replacing my beloved Subaru Forester.
Would probably be cheaper than the scooby on fuel! 😉
Look up SHB 4x4, most of the construction industry seem to use them for 4x4 hire at one time or another.
Ta guys- too far south and ideally a SWB van (we'd be converting after a while)- it needs to be a van first.
hora - slightly off topic of the hire but you won't do this to the hiace will you?

does your local toyota franchise dealer do a hire service? My local Ford, vauxhall, vw and renault all do but not sure about toyota.
Local dealer ask for teast drive weekend, i got an Aygo for the weekend free, lovely car but so expensive for what it was, and they where nice people as well.
project I drove our old Aygo through Holland/Belgium to South Germany at NY a couple of years ago 😀
Ps. goodpoint on the dealership. I dont want to lead any salesman on (as we get this at work as well) so will speak to them on this angle.
The dealership will have previously owned ones as well.
forge197- thats hilarious! Stick a glass fibre effort over the top of the front of an old vehicle then add 10k to the price!
hora - it's very hard to imagine what goes through someone's mind to come up with that.
