For those who saw the fabulous "I met a black man..." comment by CallMeDave on the debate...
Who did Dave meet this week?
some of those are quite good 🙂
I actually did meet a black man once btw.
I loved that "I met a black man" comment, you could hear the sharp intake of breath from the audience...
"Last week, I met an old grandfather, who told me that teenagers stabbing each other in Hackney were no substitute for proper married relationships."
😆
"Last week, I met a wheelchair-bound postman, who told me that Nick Clegg got a free car from the NHS.
Thought that one was quite apt at the moment.
"Last week, I met a Muslim investment banker, who told me that cynicism was taking this country to hell in a handbasket."
"Last week, I met a disabled World War Two veteran, who told me that bogus asylum seekers were ruining things for small businesses."
😯"Last week, I met a white working-class cabin boy, who told me that Hilary Benn ruined this country by recklessly lending money."
"Last week, I met a Polish barman, who told me that David Milliband was no substitute for a proper married relationship."
"Last week, I met a Northern World War Two veteran, who told me that the Guardian set fire to a bag of kittens."
😆
"Last week, I met a disenfranchised reformed paedophile, who told me that dubstep was very bad for house prices."
It's perhaps the defining political issue of our age.
Last week, I met a disenfranchised seaman, who told me that the gays took all of their money and spent it on a duck island."
😆
You could waste a day on that site and it would still be funny
EDIT: this is even better:
Last week, I met a 40-year-old couple, who told me that lack of respect raped the next door's beagle
Superb! 😆
Last week, I met a Muslim banker, who told me that the Cabinet drinks white cider on the street and starts fights
Could spend hours on that and not stop giggling!
It does throw up some gems 🙂
"Last week, I met an Afghan grandfather, who told me that Radio 4 meant the dead going unburied."
So very true.
"Last week, I met a Jewish banker, who told me that benefit scroungers killed Jesus."
