Who has a ‘show tea towel’?

Well we just been looking at getting a new kitchen, and towel rails for non-show tea towels don't seem to be much of a thing. So that oven door handle space would be at a premium.

Don't let them fob you off. Just tell them "no show tea towel rail, no deal".

Yes, they do. Proper black ones with the quasar graphic on n’all. Keep meaning to take them to a gig and wave them around when the lads play the song.
They never get used for taking stuff out of the oven, I’ve got tea towels for that.

I do have a show tea towel, a rather nice one I bought at a Paper Aeroplanes gig, intending to hang it on the wall as a poster, just not got around to it yet.

There has to be a market for merchandise with obscure Half Man Half Biscuit lyrics, surely?!

FWIW, my tea towel hangs over the oven door handle for oveney things, I have a hand towel hanging on the side of the oven with a suction hook thing, and I don’t dry my washed up things with the tea towel, they’re on the draining board so I don’t have to.
