Or even a real (female) one? Seems an awful lot of it around this week
I've just put the kettle on for a Lemsip. They're the flu strength blackcurrant ones. Anyone want one?
Lemsips are great. I often drink them even when I don't have a cold.
Lots of people at work have,it's only a matter of time 🙁

Someone's obviously sicker than binners then.
Sweet Jesus, man, why?
Had a runny nose and constant sneezing (AKA man flu) about a week ago - it was touch and go for a while but I pulled through.
Funny I started this morning though it had been because I'd just had a week off and relaxed for once.
I usually only get ill when I'm off work for holidays 😕 I'm sure it's tied to the body relaxing and allowing itself to be effected. 😥
I just happen to like the taste. The lemon ones are nicer than the blackcurrant, but the blackcurrent ones are still quite nice. You have to have lots of sugar in them. At least 3.
To answer the question "not me". Any excuse to post this ...
I have one in the post.
I'm sure there is one in the offing with me. Met up with a mate from the other side of the country at the weekend and he said his wife thought that she was coming down with something. Which means he probably had it, which means I'll probably get it.
Bloody west country colds, coming to the east and taking our immune systems.

Often?
You may want to consult you doctor on the effects of long term use of paracetamol.
(Hint: it is nasty stuff!)
Throat is on fire this morning, teaching cycling all day tomorrow!
Often?
No need to worry. I'm fully versed on the dangers of paracetamol. By often I meant 'more often than when I have a cold', which translates to one every other week or so. Considering I never take paracetamol any other time, that's probably less than most people who don't drink lemsips recreationally.

Good man. I just wanted to sound some caution because the missus has dealt with people who have been taking just a little too much paracetamol just a little too often and it's not a nice way to die. 🙁
