You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Hello all,
My woodburner makes a whistling noise when it's windy outside, it's quite pleasant usually but I'm trying to record a banging ukulele track and it's messing with my chi.
Does yours whistle, can you stop mine, is it just the stolen wood that whistles? It only does it when it's not fired up.
Can you not jam along to the whistling on the uke? You could have a major YouTube sensation.
It must be the draft caused by the venturi effect across the chimbley pulling air through a vent. Why not just open the door for the short time you don't need the whistle?

I've found sometimes a sharp edged air inlet is prone to this.
Rubbing a file over the edges may help, if it's accessible.

The Goat and Scrote maybe?
Perhaps a cowl would help?
Burn the ukelele?
I incorporated the whistle for an festive atmospheric vibe, Scrotefire's new album will be in the shops in time for Christmas...
