I bloody love YouTube
Nice.
I only saw this for the first time the other day. Check out Prince's guitar solo at the end. Something else.
That 1st vid is rather good!
The second BRAVO!!! Prince is an underrated guitarist IMHO.
Amazing. I wish I could play guitar, that Railboard seems like an incredibly versatile instrument
I read somewhere that Prince is some sort of weird genius where he can master pretty much any instrument within a day or two.
I think it is safe to say Prince is some sort of weird genius.
Had to fastforward the 2nd vid to where Prince started, could hack the rest. 1st vid is great
Lovely stick playing... Thanks
For a smaller instrument doing the same tune brilliantly...
Prince - what a poseur 🙂
Prince - what a talented poseur
Prince goes up 1000% in my estimation!
I'll admit to never realising Prince was such a good guitarist...
I'll see your Prince, and raise you a John Petrucci (i realise it's a cover, but go with it):
It should be called "While My Guitar Gently Smokes" after that Prince solo.
He looked like he was having a laugh whilst doing it too.
That John Petrucci solo does nothing for me. He pretty much replicates the original, note for note, until it turns into pointless widdly noise at the end. Gah, I'm beginning to sound like my dad 😥
The Prince vid is sheer class though. So so so good!

The definitive version
I have always thought that it is shame Prince is so talented, It would be great if he just concentrated on the guitar.
My Favourite version of While my Guitar gently weeps.
Prince game me goosebumps - weird -Thanks for sharing -
maybe time to put a jumper on.
Where did Prince's guitar go at the end of that video?
Where did Prince's guitar go at the end of that video?
Indeed, just thrown to the heavens. I suspect God caught it for him.

To be fair, that was the intention. They played a full set of their own stuff, and then casually rattled off the whole of Dark Side of the Moon by way of tribute. They did something similar with the Metallica's Black album and Maiden's Number of the Beast.
A lot of people don't like Petrucci, but he's one of my favorites.
Where did Prince's guitar go at the end of that video?
It swung around behind and went up his ass....
