You shouldn't go to 12thplayer.com as that has lots of links to illegal

Don't really care about Chelsea but the 'best league in the world' bores will be circle jerking each other to Munich and back if they beat Real.

Which they won't.

😆

Bayern are 2-1 up after the first leg so might not be Real they play 🙂

Let's just hope we see some football in the final, not a masterclass in defending. 👿

Idiot Jeff Stelling (who presumably has never been to big away game with Hartlepool or whoever he supports).... the Chelsea support are not staying in the ground 'cos they're having so much fun cheering their team. They're all desperate to get out on the piss but the police are keeping them in.

Not a Chelsea fan (just for the record, Reading now have more League Championships than you)

But that was one hell of a performance. Let's face it, you can't outplay Barca, you have to be smarter than that, and they were tonight.

Let's just hope we see some football in the final, not a masterclass in defending

All part of the game. Why should it be that just because the best player on the pitch tonight was Cech, that in some way that devalues a victory? Last time I checked he was one of the 11 (or 10, or 16 or whatever it is) just like Messi is for them.

All part of the game

Completely agree and the onus was on Barça to beat it.
Not a strategy for the long term or in the interest of good entertaining football, remember they are now in the entertainment business.

I wasn't, I was talking about the 9 helpers he had, 10 if you include the woodwork. 😉

DS well it was very entertaining on the radio. Reminded me of listening to Chelsea vs Real Madrid on my radio as a kid in 71

But Torres was 20 yards further up the pitch than anyone 😉

(and I bet everyone was screaming at him to get back and help out)

pulling your leg. How can it be backs to the wall when Torres was goalhanging like that annoying kid back in the playground in the late 70's.

They got the result and have demonstrated that they can go forward, play and score. It's a shame they don't have the confidence to do it the whole game.
What time did El Niño come on?

about 10 mins to go I think.

It's a shame they don't have the confidence to do it the whole game.

because you can't outplay Barca, you have to outtactic them. Blame them for being too good!

So the previous 80 mins were a 10 man defence broken by a 10 second run and concluded with another 9 mins 50 secs of defending. Classic. 😆
EDIT: I've already said that Barças job was to find a way around them, no matter how boring it is. but again Chelsea need to think about being part of the entertainment industry now. It's not simply a question of winning. Ask del Bosque.

winning the game on aggregate and a man down against the best team on the planet...yes it was daft to lack the confidence to attack at that point.

I was just wondering, with this kind of tactical acumen, are you free this summer to manage Engerland?

I'd love to. Check what I've said about entertainment too. 😉
I can think of another english team that plays attractive attacking football, sometimes less attractive when Scholes is on, but definitely attacking.

It was nailbiting, compelling viewing. Entertaining like one of those films that leaves you hiding behind your hands.

And I'm not even a Chelsea fan.

The one that tried to outplay Barca and made last year's CL final the most boring, one sided one for years? It was like watching a Premier League side play a non-league side in a preseason friendly for excitement.

does anyone else follow @TheBig_Sam on twitter?

"Was having a w**k with a Midnight Jasmine Yankee Candle placed strategically under my balls when that Torres goal went in. What a moment. I never thought I'd utter these words but Gary Neville's commentary actually enhanced my orgasm. Fair play to him, he's a winner"
