Toyota Corolla Verso 06-09
VW Touran 06-09
or Chevrolet Orlando
Do big miles matter on Toyotas and VWs as long as they have a full service history.
Well in traditional STW fashion, but taking it one unhelpful step further, I am going to recommend the car I-do-not-yet-but-soon-will have, and say the Toyota 🙂
Had an 05 Touran here, from 2.5 years/15k old upto a few months ago/160k.
Good, really practical car. Good MPG. Comfy.
It went wrong a lot more than I would have hoped for, and cost a fortune when it did (which modern car does not?). We had to replace or faults with DMF/Clutch (@38k), DPF, ABS (£1500+), 3xpairs of lower arms, 1x upper arms, airbag fault, horn died, three out of four glow plugs etc etc
Would I buy another? I would go Toyota route - having had alongside the Touran a Yaris that is now on 100k and never been any bother beyond a pair of wheel bearings.
If I really had to sell my soul and get one, it would be an S-Max, but that's not on your list, so none of the above.
At a push, the Touran
[s]Not the Fiat Orlando though.[/s]
Ignore me I'm talking shite, that's Chrysler.
What Toyota are you getting thegreatape a Verso?
Had thought about a Grand c max but not many about.
I!ll ask the question again do big miles matter, petrol versions?
