I seemingly bought the last 2 wiggle lifeline bike stands
lifeline bike stand

I got them to try out with a view to getting more for my other bikes if I was happy with them. They're great, they hold bikes nice and steady from 29"x2.4" MTB to 700x25mm road with no adjustment to the stand necessary. I can't seem to source more anywhere though! There's lots of very similar designs elsewhere but none that seem to have the pivoting cradle that features in the LifeLine design. I'm concerded other designs might not be as stable because of this. Can anyone either show up my google-fu or vouch for another make being as good?

Thanks!

Halfords do one that seems to be very similar to the Sports-something (or it might be Feedback Sports) line that cost about twice the price. I'm pretty sure Lidl/Aldi do one in the bike sales that also does the same thing at a cheaper price.
The cheaper ones do work very well, but they aren't as well finished as the pricier offerings - they hold the wheel well and the bike remains stable, but the finish is definitely cheaper feeling.

I've got black version of this and its not that bad.

Rockbros Stand

I do tend to put the front wheel in it thou as otherwise you get floppy handlebars.

Found the Feedback sports rack I have as well - https://www.feedbacksports.com/product/rakk-black/

I've got 2 of those, 1 of the Halfords' stands and 1 Lidl/Aldi one - all in constant use and all work very well - haven't noticed the floppy handlebars either.

2.3" wide tyre is the largest width I've got but suspect they can take a wider one, but it'll need a proper squash in to the holder part.
