Time to buy a new one since my sister has claimed the one I used to use as her own. It's a Tom Tom which I've never had any problems with so think I should just get another, but my mate had major problems with his new Tom Tom not updating properly to the point where it ruined the whole thing and had to take it back for a refund..
Budget is <£100
Oh and the current one has the useful feature of being able to plan a route to avoid toll roads which I'd like to have in the new one.
How about this one?
I have a tom tom that looks like the older version of that one on your link. Its been almost perfect for 3 years:)
Almost as it does take me down some tiny roads when I haven't had the common sense to check the route on a map first. It only happens very occasionaly:)
NOT a Navman/Mio M600. It's idea of route planning is...well it's crap. 😕
I think most sat navs now, even the cheap ones have options about avoid unsurfaced/toll/etc roads.
Ok cool, it's never listed though so I'm never sure whether they do or not!
The TomTom XL Classic can be had for £105 on amazon, think I'll probably get one of those.
I've got a very good one on ebay at the moment. Only selling as it was a pain to mount on one of my motorbikes so I've bought something a little smaller.
It's here:

I've got one of these for sale if you're interested?
Does the "avoid toll roads" thing as one of the options and updates quickly if you go the wrong way.
You can have it for £50 posted. Drop us a line on the email machine.
Cheers
I wouldn't agree with Twinklydave as Mio's Navman Spirit Flat was the best sat nav I've had. And I used to have 2 tom toms before. I guess it's all relative and you just have to find what suits you best.
