Plans are in hand for a European trip (on motorcycle) later this year and whilst I do like GooglyMaps I find it's not quite what I want, in that I'd like to plot a route visiting a number of places and have that one 'thing' as a saved item I can visit, use, update at any time I feel like.

What is best for this? I'm happy to pay for something if it is the best way to do this

Cheers!

I use plotaroute.com to create my pan-European bikepacking routes. It has the best route editing tools I think. It does cost £20 per year to get rid of annoying adverts though.

Harry Metcalfe of Harry's Garage fame has mentioned a motorcycle trip planner called Calimoto on his videos.

I used Cycletravel last year, got us through Netherlands, Germany and France without a hitch. I found it easy to use.

That might have been useful if I hadn't misread the op😂

He also always uses Michelin paper road maps when planning as apps tend to always take you down the most efficient route..... Which may not be what you want if you want to go down the nicest roads.

So I think he plans the basic route on the paper maps and then uses Google/Waze do directions between waypoints.
