I remembered a couple of Judo themed threads a while back and I remember there were a few judoka here.
I want a new Judo suit. I have short list of;
Fighting films superstar classic (expensive, but top reviews),
Fushida icon (shipped from Canada- Great reviews, good price, until I add shipping and import/ VAT.),
Mizuno Shiai (can be bad for shrinkage).

The Mizuno is the only of the 3 currently used by one of the club members, so cant compare with the rest.

What Judo suit do you wear? Any experiences or advice would be welcome.

I have mixture of SFAM Noris White Tiger ( my favourite but no longer legal), Blitz blue/white suit, and a new Adidas suit. Oh and the worlds stiffest suit an old Shogun which is great for defence as no body can get a good grip.

Does it need to be IJF Legal.

It doesn't need to be IJF legal. I going to be competing for my first Dan points this year, and taking part in the local comps, but nothing that would need to be IJF.
I'm not familiar with the White tiger, I will check them out.

Think it depends on your body shape too. Recent thread about on BJA Facebook page. Green Hill seemed popular along with a whole lot of very niche kits, kind of like mountain biking then!

Craig Fallon wears Adidias so dont discount them, back in my day I wore Rucanor gold and SFAM Noris which was my favourite.
