Looking for an alarm for my garage with roller door and side entrance. I'm thinking loud and not easily shut off rather than some smart thing, but open to thoughts and experiences. Would rather not spend hundreds, but I don't want something useless either so if needs must.

I want some kind of motion sensor that lets out a little noise or beep. Something that just says "We know you're here" type of thing. Like the thing that screeches at me every time I push the pram past the van down the street.

I totally get that approach, I'm the same with our van. Haven't fitted extra hook locks or arnoured panels as folk would still destroy the panels/door in any attempt to gain access. I'd rather deter them from trying in the first place especially as van's empty when parked up anyway - window in tailgate to let them see it's empty perhaps.
