So it’s that time again when my sky broadband is up for re-newal. I quite fancy full fibre to the house .
The main players in my village seem to be box broadband and hey broadband .
Box is cheaper but has crappy reviews . Hey is a bit more expensive but seems to have less negativity . It’s also in cranleigh so a bit more local to me .
Has anyone any experience of either ? Or have any other recommendations ? Thanks

I'm using hey broadband to write this. Not at my house but visiting a relative. Seems fine and he's only got the base 100mbs service. Only downside is the WiFi no longer reaches the bog at the back of the house. The old sky one did.

Thanks , it’s good have a positive report .
I’ve got some hubs I’ll plug in to boost signal around so reach is not a massive issue for me . I’m more concerned for periods of no service - everything runs off the tinternet now .

Consider what work is likely to be needed. If you are fed from a pole and they have a fibre DP on it, it should be fairly painless.

If your phone line is underground, it could be painless if fully ducted back to their fibre DP, or they might charge if some of it is buried direct in ground.

Thanks , it’s ducted to the property . Others in my street seem to be having it fitted so hopefully won’t be a drama
