About £100-130? We don't want the Chris King of coffee machines just something easy to use & good value for dosh, not bothered about it doing espresso either but latte & cappuchino are the basic must haves.
I may have already given away that i know nowt about them!

latte and cappuccino are made from espresso shots. (or should be) cant really have anything without starting at espresso.

unless you go for one of these pre packaged bubble pack jobbers, which is essentially instant cappucino mix. hmmmmm YummY. or not.

possibly - the beginning of a Latte is an espresso...

some of the cheaper DeLonghi ones are as good a foot in the door as any.

I started with one of these;

but I have a nespresso machine now.

If you're near Hove and it looks like what you want then for a tenner you can have it.

We've got a Krups XP2000 and have been very happy with that. They can be had for about £140 or so.

We've got a seperate grinder for the beans and so far I've been resisting the temptation to replace it with a bean-to-cup machine.

You can get a Gaggia Classic for £180. I bought a cheap one, gave up after a year (bad pressure, useless at making a decent crema, wouldn't froth milk very well) and got the Gaggia - infinitely better.

Blows your budget a little though - have you a birthday coming up?
