Probably going to pick up one of these little jump packs but there seems to be a big difference in power and price.
Potential applications range include a 10hp electric start B&S engine, 1L diesel lawn mower up to a 3L V6 diesel.
What AH and peak output should I be looking for?
This looks good value but I have no idea!
I have a 1500 cc petrol and use one of these:

I bought that after reading online review. That has 400A peak output and started my car effortlessly with a totally dead battery. A 3L diesel will need a lot more grunt than a 1500 cc petrol, so probably 800 A would be fine. My guess is they will all be generically the same, it's just a matter of avoiding shonky cheap ones with with exploding batteries. I've had other Arteck stuff, so figured they were probably safe.
Also, make sure you know how to use it in detail. Trying to read the manual on the side of the road in a blizzard would suck pretty bad. I recharge mine at the start of each month and just refresh myself on how the cable plug in and how to switch it on.
I have one of these;

Bought last year when my van battery started failing. Works fine, as I'm sure they all do.
I have a slightly older Artek, it's ace. Thing is, it's not replacing the battery, it can't start even my 2 litre petrol car if the battery's actually flat. Might be able to do the motorbike, never tried. But it just steps in when the battery's too flat to start the car but not totally dead and gives a helping hand, and that it turns out is a lot of the time. It's been having a pretty productive year as most of my street isn't driving much, now I get random knocks on the door from people I've never really met because I'm the Car Starting Guy.
For really shoving the battery out of the way and saying "I got dis" you need a lot of battery, and also quite a lot of jump lead to deal with the current. If you've got an old car battery and a charger, then that's your Big Jobs Jump Starter.
I have an Artek too, looks similar to scotroutes, probably all made in the same place.
Been caught out a few times with battery issues, though generally in older cars, just trying not to get caught out again!.
I've got the Halfords 1000A Noco one. Starts my 4.7l Jeep first time, every time. The previous plug in battery charger with "start" function had to be left connected for half an hour to get it to start before I got that wee starter pack. Used it on it four or five times on the Jeep and twice on the MGF in the garage (that needs scrapped or fixed) and it still doesn't need charged.
I have a Halfords one ( https://www.halfords.com/motoring/battery-maintenance/jump-starters/halfords-6-in-1-jump-starter-power-pack-654898.html).
I use it to power my SUP pump and when I get a flat, I just pump it up and drive as fast as I can to the garage (joke).
Can't remember using it to jump anything.
Has 240v and USB out so can also charge phones.

Can’t remember using it to jump anything.
I received one of them as a gift. I wouldn't bother trying to jump anything they are pathetic
Even as new fully charged the output was pants.
We used it as portable power pack till it died.
I have a Noco Boost 40 and its really good, used for jumping motorbikes mainly but has been used on diesel van and mates 3.5L diesel straight six. Span all of them faster than the fast thing and started easily.
