Looking to book somewhere for 5 nights in Feb next year so any recommendations would be welcome. Looking for something with a bit of style and good size rooms, no hostels please. 😉
Also any ideas on things to do and see other than the obvious also welcome.

Pershings for breakfast - opposite grand central station.
we loved the chopper ride, awesome.
the statue of liberty is worth doing but go early and expect a queue.
hotel: we stayed at the 4* hyatt. close to everything, smiled sweetly and got an upgrade for mrs birthday.

We stayed in the New Yorker last year.
And stayed for longer than planned as Huricane Sandy hit.
Nice enough, and very central to most of the (shut) places we wanted to see..
