As luck would have it ive just found out i'm working near Machynlleth tomorow. So to me that mean only one thing, Cli-Machx trail!!!
Does anyone know of some cheap to reasonable priced bike frendly b n b in that area?

ive stayed in the reditreks bunkhouse and the white lion hotel in the town.
white lion has the convenience of breakfast, we had dinner there too and it was huge and lovely.
both recommended.
you will need to check on the cli-machx as its been re-routed and if you were looking for that final descent prepare to be disappointed.

Don't know if it's in effect yet, but there are major works in the area (gas pipe laying apparently) that will have some roads closed in daytime hours.
Sadly I don't know how to find out which roads when.
This place is the parents of a friend of mine, about 15 mins down the road. The breakfast is the BEST! 🙂
