I have a few power tools I might be looking to sell, is ebay my best bet? The tools seem to have gone up in price!

eBay is good. I got a great price for an Arbortech Allsaw. ALmost 70% of what I paid for it 12 months and a lot of abuse earlier.

If it's a bandsaw I may be interested 🙂

But big tools that need collecting (and space) can be a bargain - I got an immaculate Inca planer/thicknesser for £58 last month. 🙂

I will almost definitely be selling a Bosch router I think it is a GMF 1400 CE or a GMF 1600 CE it is in very good condition as I only used it for one project.

Trend router table I think it is this http://www.trend-uk.com/en/UK/product/view_reviews.php?SKU=Q1JUX01LMg%3D%3D&list_value=124&list_type=2 off the top off my head.

I also have a Festool domino cutter although I'm going to think about that first as it has almost doubled in price.

Sorry no bandsaws although I have a circular saw but it's a no name brand my flatmate left me.

Bucks University were selling some really good kit a month or so back, but it would need a workshop to house it.

I'd say ebay. I keep getting outbid as stuff is going for good money. I sold a drill for slightly more that it was new in screwfix. That said I'm very interested in the Bosch Router, email in profile.

My Uni, studied Furniture design there in 2000, hmmm, wonder why they sold stuff off...

Festool Dominos are worth a bit now, useful machines, but overpriced IMHO. I would try places like UKwoodworkers forum, but ebay if you can stand the charges.

All things in the UK are overpriced, but it does cut mortice and tenons faster than and machine I have seen.

I finished at Bucks in 2007, they have recently joined the Contemporary design and Fine craft courses, which is both good and bad. Whilst I was there, they were really trying to make cut backs to the staffing. They had a press shop where there was no teacher, which was ridiculous as the guy they laid off was an encyclopedia of knowledge.

I'm not sure but I think they are hoping to do more paper based courses, which is a joke as who actually wants to study English at Bucks. Where as they were the best at furniture design and had great connections within local companies.
