specifically two Mies van der Rohe Brno chairs.
Not "original" originals but about 20 years old, genuine Knoll made under license (not the cheapo replicas)...

Are there any sites or furniture dealers that people can recommend please?

not sure I'd get best value on the usual online sites but would be good to know any advice please

Thanks

eBay. Any dealer is going to give you far less than you could sell them for personally. Look at what dealers sell them for, price them a bit cheaper, leave them on eBay fixed price until they sell.

This gives you an indication of used price -

Try Lord Brown's Furniture; they're selling what they describe as Knoll Studio 'Brno' chairs in both flat bar and tubular versions.

Nice timing....

I've a couple of Knoll Antimott lounge chairs.

Bought years ago for ~400€, reckon the guy selling them didn't know what he was selling. Tbh, we didn't know what we were buying other than the fact we liked the chairs.

Came to sell them and some guy was very keen on sending us the money (250€) and coming to pick them up. Thought it was a bit odd. Thought I'd have a look as to why he was so keen. Bit of research and could only find two examples of these chairs being sold. 1350€ and 1440€. Turns out they're pretty rare examples of Knoll furniture.

Long story short.... Contacted a company in Antwerp who restore MCM furniture and happened to be selling a chair and sofa in the same design. Now making a detour to Antwerp on our way to the UK and pocketing a grand. Not bad given the chairs are in need of new upholstery and a bit of tlc.

They look like these, except they don't because I've used and abused them for the last 12 years.

Have a look on Instagram... Restorers often put up their wares on there. That's how I found my buyer in Antwerp.
