We publish illustrated books. Having moved our department to this country almost 12 months ago, we've struggled to find great book designers to take on permanently. We're based in London and there can't be a shortage of talent there, surely!? It occurred to me that we might be looking in the wrong places. So where do designers go to look for full-time jobs?

London ought to be chock a block with these folk, there are one or two graphic design folk on here.
Freelancers?
The Guardian media pages on a Monday were where I got my jobs from.
There are some publishing LinkedIn groups that may address your recruitment.
