We are looking for a laptop for our eldest lad to do his school work/play games on.

Other than currys/pcworld is there anywhere else online to compare prices etc.

Also what laptop would you be looking at for between £250-300.

Cheers

Steve.

I always use these guys (closest independent to me) http://m.cclonline.com

I got my daughter one of these which is great. Track pads not brilliant though so a mouse is needed for games, art etc.

Laptops and playing games don't mix unless you up your budget significantly, or if by 'games' you mean things like farmville and candy crush.

Ebuyer, Dabs or Box.co.uk are worth a look.
