As per title really. We're looking to go camping in Devon or Cornwall for a week in June.
Must have things to do for an adventurous 2.5 year old.
I don't know either area well so where would be good to go camping?
River Dart Country Park with a youngsters.
Adventurous?
Cerenety, nr Bude, North Cornwall. Proper camping with basic facilities and lots of activities, including feeding rescue animals, chickens etc. Plenty beach/canal/bike hire/boating stuff to do locally. 40 min to 1hr drive to Eden Project depending on seasonal traffic.

Looks like it is going to be River Dart Country Park.
Thanks for the suggestions.

They will love the pirate ship! Nice easy access onto the moor as well - take a bike 😉
That North Morte campsite - it looks like every camping pitch is on a slope! Looks bloody uncomfortable.

+1. There's loads of stuff for the kids to do, plus a reasonable on site bar/ café.

We took ours here last summer, 6, 4 and 1yr.
It's got good playpark facilites, clean toilets, family shower rooms and they have a small animals area where you can feed the animals with the owners every morning.
Our kids loved it.
Perranporth itself has a great beach with loads of pool areas at low tide and a freshwater stream running out through it that makes a great safe beach/water playing area for the kids without the depth and waves of the sea to scare them off.
We love Cornwall and now stay at Trevean caravan and camping , only entertainment is an adventure playground/sandpit and a huge field for kites/football and exercising dogs. We used to go to Old MacDonald's farm its a bit pricey but loads for kids to do . Our 2 favorite beaches are in the same area Porthcothan bay and Treyarnon bay.
South Penquite near Bodmin. Great for kids & adults alike.
Bookmarked. Thanks.
I've camped at North Mort Farm several times and its nice, it is hilly but there are flat pitches. Now we've got kids we go to Woolacombe Sands in a static caravan. It is very nice and has camping facilities. Good for kids as there are swimming pools, arcades etc. And you can walk to Woolacombe beach from the site.
We stayed at old macdonalds farm when ours were little. It was very popular with them at the time.
You may be glad to know that 10 years later we are onto our forth year of 3 weeks riding in the Alps or Pyrenees each summer
We stay at Atlantic view in portcothan. No activities for the kids, shower/toilet block that hasnt been updated since the 70's, no booking, no website, £10 a night but direct path traffic free 5min walk to porthcothan beach.
And it's only 40min drive from home so we can go for a night if the weather/surf looks good.
