In the centre? If you like sea food there's a great Loch Fyne restaurant just up form Maplins at the bottom of the pedestrian area :o).

Grab a large pizza from Al Pics and wonder down to the train station to pull out a big spliff. Finish off the evening by jumping over peoples hedges.

Or seeing as it's not 1991 any more, there's one or two places down by the water these days near the Welsh Bridge, and no shortage of pubs. Shrewsbury had the highest pub to people ratio in the UK for a while. Just don't get your head kicked in by the EBF if they are still alive and bored....

EBF - the eggy bum fluff as one of my works colleages who lives there refers to them as 🙂

Yeah Loch Fyne and then the Admiral Benbow or Coach and Horses just up the lane from there, great pubs.

Cromwells is ok.

Or Drapers.

Loads of Italian places, most are no better than 'Ask' only one that's any good is Giuseppe on Frankwell roundabout, but he's a funny bugger and probably won't let you in.
