The Foresters is out in the woods.

If you are central, lots of places - curry / pizza / pubs.

Its been a while since I ate there but The Oatsheaf at the top of the High St, or The Heron on the lake overlooking the pond.

Had a meal at the Heron on the lake a few weeks back. The pie was a proper pie, not a stew with a lid. That's as far as my restaurant critique goes

The Exchequer in Crookham Village is the best local pub for food. 2nd is Fox and Hounds is on the canal - had a nice burger there yesterday and good for cheap eats.  The Oatsheaf and most of the High Street are just a me-too chain pub - not cheap and just meh. Foresters has a dodgy rep for food hygiene.

I lived in fleet for 14 years.

faves were the heron, menu Thai and foresters.

foresters has a nice chilled atmosphere, good food and decent beer selection.

Heron is nicest for pub grub and atmosphere. Can have a walk or ride around the pond too. Out of town though very close to the station.

Oat Sheaf is okay. Been there for a few work lunches. Parking and beer garden etc. Yeah, chain type stuff, can be slow with a large group ordering food.

Prince Albert, not eaten there but decent enough and cheap. It's Weatherspoons so you get what you expect. Car park next to it but it's Pay&Display.

Probably not a lunch thing, but We Indian is nice, or was but last time I went was over 10 years ago. Bit posh and expensive. I think Prince William went there once.

Ride related pubs if heading Caesars way - Foresters, Tweseldown, Wyvern
