We are replacing all the doors and handles in the house so looking for some good handles. We have had handles in a previous house from B&Q and they were pretty crap so wondered if anyone knew where to get good ones?

Depends on style and budget of course!
Modern and expensive: http://www.dline.com/products/d-line/hardware/
Modern and not so expensive: http://www.trapex.com/Lever_Page.html
Traditional: http://www.fromtheanvil.co.uk/door-furniture
Traditional: https://www.jim-lawrence.co.uk/filtered-products/25979/door-handles-pairs

Probably all a bit expensive - but good quality. The dline prices will make your eyes water.

I was really pleasantly surprised with these for a tenner each: http://www.screwfix.com/p/smith-locke-cuatro-lob-latch-door-handles-pair-polished-chrome/9296h

They make the ones they replaced (B&Q, about the same price) feel like tinfoil in comparison. They're nice and solid, reassuringly heavy feeling.
