I have had this for years but never really used it that much and not at all in the past 4 years. So with much sadness it has come time to part with my harris F1. But where is the best place to sell it.

Ebay really for ammount of buyers

I'd imagine you'd get some interest on generic forums like www.therevcounter.com

what year is it ?
Looks like a nice spec - Dymags ?
I`d check to see if its eligable for any of the Historic Race classes yet ? as I know Harris were flat out remanufacturing their old frames as they had recently become "The thing to have" again with people building new "Historic" bikes !!!

dymags, yes. All high spec parts (for 1985)

It's a gpz900r engine with a 1000rx head and barrels on it so not the Z1 option which would put it into the megabucks category

I`d check to see if its eligable for any of the Historic Race classes yet ?

thanks, will check that

Lester (Harris) will be able to tell you what classes they are building them for and consequently where you might be able to target ?

EDIT: I know I shouldnt........ but how much ? 8)

I am not sure, can only find one for sale and that was a gs1000 for £8000 which I think is a bit steep.

To put it into perspective - this is a well known bike with provenance

http://www.motoforum.net/index.php?showtopic=78619#entry319550

And that's up for offers now after originally asking £8k with a huge spares package.

MCN or Visordown are your best bet - but without the full fat engine, etc is what a buyer is willing to pay.
Probably not what you want to hear but being honest.
It's a buyers market at the moment.
