Last year I had my top 15 on the radio. I downloaded that onto podomatic and then onto my iPad. Such a historical event needs preserving for eternity.
So I backed up my iPad onto my MacBook with the hope of opening up the back up and storing the podomatic recording as a file somewhere.
Where would it be?. Looked in recents and searched for backups.
Don’t know about current os, but on my older iMac I think I store in iTunes. Pretty sure my iTunes folder has a back up sub folder. Other problem is that back up may be encrypted and not able to separate out single files.
The Apps page of iTunes (or Finder, if you've updated) often lets you dig around the data that applications have downloaded and if you're lucky you can just find it there. Or see if the app has a Share button and message yourself the file.
Both will likely be easier than trying to extract the file you want from an encrypted system image.
The actual download on podomatic is no longer there, it's just downloaded onto my iPad. If I share the link it just says page not found.
