Where for new bezel for Seiko divers?

I have a Seiko solar divers.

It's been a very good watch. keeps perfect time.

It needs a new battery/capacitor.

Also, the bezel is pretty battered and it could do with a new one.

I have contacted a couple of online watch repair places and they can do the battery but not the bezel.

I was going to get a new one but they have seem to have shot up in price, nearly £500 now, I only paid about £170 a few years back.

Any recommendations?

There's loads of companies that make mod parts for Seiko Diver's, e.g.

Seiko mod parts

Mainly the SKX and 5KX variants but you might get lucky. A new bezel insert is probably more likely than a whole bezel.

As luck would have it, I’ve just had an email from someone who supplies bezel inserts, hands, etc, promoting a sale.

I have used them before, the fully lumed ceramic bezel on one of my Heimdallr watches is from them.

Solar is generally not well covered by the modding scene.

He's been around 20 years and can get a little of OEM parts.
