So sometime in the future, Tony Blair will pop his clogs and no doubt there'll be an outpouring of national grief that such a hallowed and wonderful man was mortal after all.

What would you put on his gravestone?

The names of all the servicemen killed and wounded in his illegal war.

Why would Tony Blair have that on his gravestone?

So you reckon Tony Blair is gonna be buried with a bunch of crusty socks...

How very odd.

Hopefully when the time comes you'll be gone - either off this mortal coil or just of the forum - not too fussed either way. Then we'll be able to have a proper reasoned debate of the pros and cons (and don't I know there are a fair few) of this British statesman. But we'll be able to do it without a ****fest of 'meaningful' memes and youtube clips 'to make us think'. Will you ever learn that your delivery style is the single most repelling  part of your argument? People might actually give a flying toss what you think if you changed that.

He's nowhere near as bad as Nixon was, but I do like Hunter S. Thompson's obituary for Nixon.

I expect that someone will deliver a serious-faced, faltering speech to camera, loaded with pregnant pauses, referring to him as the ‘People’s Prime Minister’

I doubt anyone's going to trust me with a masonry chisel so the question is somewhat redundant.

As long as it doesn't say "here lies Labour's last elected PM" I'm not overly bothered. Who prefers the current govt?

"At least he didn't run a silly, ambiguous referendum that changed the lives of the UK population for the worse for several generations."

I'm sure that folk will give all due respect to the recently departed - just as they did with Margaret Thatcher. Funny how it was OK to lay into her legacy as soon as she died yet other leaders and politicians need to be "respected" for an indeterminate amount of grieving time.

The only thing I imagine you ever do at your keyboard is annoy people on here and jerk off constantly to fairly 'specialist' websites..

Well, there’s Reddit, 4chan and 8chan, which is probably where jivebunny goes when he’s been booted off here.

As far as Princess Tony’s concerned, I could write a whole vituperative comment on his term as a self-serving, narcissistic primadonna with a god complex, who managed to draw the country into an illegal war, but it would probably be a waste of time.

It won't really matter what's written on my gravestone because it'll be obscured by millions of letters of adoration (and crusty knickers) from my adoring fans, obvs

The only crusty item of underwear that would ever be appropriate for such a gravestone would be your favourite glop sock that has been prized from your cold dead hands.. 😉

Winking face added as obviously, despite you being an annoying troll, I wish you a long and healthy life..and the above comment is not to be taken seriously..

As for the original question.. I think 'here lies Tony Blair, not so smug now are you?' would be quite appropriate ..

Ask me the same question about trump or bo Jo and I'd not get my response past the swear filter..

Truth be told, I reckon we're all being trolled by politics in general...

It'd be all very well if they were just a bunch of ****ers, but the unfortunate truth is, they're ****ing us all and the planet to boot

Think of the dolphins...

You believe all the negative spin the Britsh media write about him, suits there agenda, in Sierra Leone and Kosovo he is a hero, he wasn't so bad, Iraq would have happened without Blair and the Tories would have done the same.

Things can only get bitter...oh

FIFM.

As sad as it is when anyone dies, Tony and his cohorts who supported an economic driven War and sold the Stocks Of Gold and opened up the Pension market and had a hand in easy credit enabling large debt to masses of people, I’d probably only say Good Riddance.

Even though he does support the EU and has called for those “gang of four” to be tried for treason, doesn’t negate his War Mongering and trashy Credit policies.
