I think they're reliving glasto.

The music has been blairing since noon.

To be honest i'd let the music on its own slide but the moronic wooooaaah scream at the top of their voice every 30 seconds is beginning to grate. I'm pretty sure theres only the two of them aswell!

I have to work tomorrow and trying to study right now. Is 10pm chapping time?

In the spirit of STW i should say.

I have many frozen sausages.

I can easily launch a mid sized projectile to any of their windows.

The phone line passes over my garden and i have extendable loppers/pole saw.

If it’s a one off, just ignore it.

If it’s more regular, a boot up the hoop is in order

10 pm is fine to ask them to turn it down a bit IMO

If it’s every weekend then 10pm is about time for a chat on a Sunday, if it’s a one off then leave them to it.

A bit off give and take is always useful for neighbourly harmony. And no, that doesn’t mean a revenge attack at 7am, it means letting the odd thing slide.

Captain, do I put all the sausages in at once or do I fire them over individually?

Current plan is to let someone else break first...

I'm a bit mystified, I thoguth it was an old couple that lived there. Maybe they just can't hear the bangin' choonz.

Speakers pointed at neighbours bedroom, bass heavy tune, full blast approx 5am. go out for a walk, bit of shopping then a pub lunch.

If possible, Play with the volume,,,,,,, up,,,,,, then down,,,, then up etc for max effect.
Await complaint or maybe a bit of volume war retaliation, it won’t last.
In the end you will win 👊😎

Knobead neighbour soon piped down when I persevered.

I'm normally a very subdued sort but this weekend I've given the amp an extended test. At the moment we are appreciating Orbital vs. Dr Who. Full whack- the neighbours aren't going to complain 'cos I just know that Mrs A is going to make me turn it down.

We’re finishing off some building work just now. On Friday evening builders were laying our patio, cutting lots of slabs so noisy and dusty work. It was 7pm and a sunny evening so neighbours had every reason to be disgruntled. One of them came round to complain and spoke to the builder, not me. She asked him to stop making noise and dust then, after pausing, said he could carry on as late as he liked if he went round to her house afterwards to “make it up to her”.

Not sure what my point is but it made me laugh.

To clarify it wasn't Bowie it was god awful dance music. Not even the good dance music.

At 2230 it stopped.

Sausages are saved

18 years back our neighbors had a nasty habit of playing load cr*p pop nusic (We are semi detached)

We asked them to lower the volume but they wouldn't

So I turned my amp up to full whacked the sub up as high as it would go and left rage against the machine playing "Killing in the name of" on repeat

Then went out for a 30 min walk

Came back turned it down - and we never heard them make a noise again - mind you we didn't speak to them again for 10 years...
