Depends on the breed, smaller ones stop earlier and larger ones later.

You are sure it's a Jack Russell? 😉 Seen a few people obviously sold something they weren't quite expecting. Would not normally expect to see much growth height wise from around 9 months in JRT.

Oh my he has every trait and look of a Jr. However in the genetic mishaps mash came (literally) a big male beagle. So he has all the size of a beagle with the attitude of the Jr.
My latest analogy being putting a small cockney gob shite in the body of Floyd Mayweather!

Great mix! Colleague ( non clinical) asked me about beagles this week as his nephew was considering one. Food obsessed , escape artists with an inherent ability to find trouble was how I described them. May have put him off.

Combine that with a JRT and you will have a fun dog.

Sounds a bit like my dog. She's a rescue dog and we went to the dogs trust with the mantra of we aren't getting a jack Russel and the wife didn't want a Staffie.

We now have a Jr Staffie mix. Or a jaffie as I've called the lunatic

She looks a little chubby, are you feeding her the diet of a great Dane?

Should be able to see three ribs sticking out of the side of a dog.

I love her 'ta da!' expression 🙂
She's certainly burning off a few calories wagging that tail

Love that tail. Looks like she has a bit of a waist at least 🙂

There is always some breed variation. I always say some of us are built like prop forwards and some of us are wingers. She looks like she will end up playing in the pack by those shoulders.
