I ordered some bits from a well known online retailer on Thursday, this morning I've a text and an email from royal mail telling me the parcel is received at my local office and out for delivery today.
When did they start doing that then?
The only company I get this from is Rock and Run- its the Royal Mail tracked (not recorded) service I think
You actually put a real phone number in on websites?
when did the past office start sending we've got your parcel texts?
There's an office dealing with the past? And it can somehow send texts into the future? And they're holding your parcel hostage? I'd be worried.
Something along the lines of "We have stolen your parcel as the contents were too dangerous for us to carry according to an arbitrary set of rules we dreamed up"?
The next text/email is the best one
[paraphrasing]"We have tried to deliver your parcel but no one was in so we have taken it back to the depot. When you come and collect it, bring the little card we stuck through the door and some ID"[/paraphrasing]
So I can't show you some ID and my phone with your message on then?
