Have i been living in a chinese pipe.

Paid 7.99 for saturday delivery yesterday and didnt realise it was yodel ( who they call hdln) presumably because had i seen yodel id never have placed the order.

Anyway delivery due monday.

Good work amazon.

Another customer down - yodel delivery, you might as well just start leaving them outside your warehouse door , itll be about as effective as a yodel delivery.

Our yodel man is ace. Delivers in the evening when we are more likely to be in. Good chap, likes the dog.

You paid for Saturday delivery and delivery is Monday? £7.99 refund due Shirley!

Wait until they discover you actually live in the highlands of Scotland. Delivery will be Wednesday.

About right. I bought something from Wiggle last week and chose the Collect+ collect from a local shop option which is a couple of £. Only once it was dispatched did the tracking thingy reveal that Yodel are involved. Took 5 days not the 2 it was supposed to.

ahhhh, that explains why I have had to chase the last three things that I've ordered from Amazon. If you think Scottish Highlands takes time, try Scottish islands!

😕

Bruneep being sarcastic as always.

I live within aberdeen city limits.

How ever we have both experianced the aberdeen is an island and needs a ferry and the resulting phone call asking what ferry they got to the island.

Did you pay for next day delivery, or Saturday delivery? As I had this argument with Yodel before. Placed order on a Friday, next day with Prime, Amazon email saying item sent telling me it'll be here tomorrow.

Nothing turned up, and when Yodel turned up on Monday the guy said Amazon always do it, and unless the package is marked up for a Sat delivery, it will come next working day. The parcel didn't have info on it stating it was a Saturday delivery. So I am inclined to blame Amazon as well.

...obviously if you specifically paid for Saturday delivery, then ignore all this. But do moan at Amazon and they will refund your postage.

I've read a lot of stuff about crap service from Yodel on here but bizarrely like mikedoubleu I've always had good service from them with the last delivery arriving via Yodel on Wednesday, 2 days before it was expected!

It's all down to your local driver/depot.
I'm very lucky in that I'm on first name terms with the yodel and dpd drivers and the regular postie.
Costs me a bloody fortune in tips at Christmas 😆

Yep, Yodel round here are fine. It is Parcelforce who let the industry down. I am always reluctant to order anything urgent from CRC as they insist on using them. Have waited up to 2 weeks for next day delivery items from them, depending on which useless retard they have driving for them.

DPD driver great (unless he is on holiday)
UPS driver great (unless he is on holiday)
Yodel fine but limited experince
Hermes driver fantastic but they have lost last 2 packages I have sent
Citylink great, and you can follow the driver online
Parcelforce Bottom of the heap. Used to have a great driver but he unfortunately commited suicide! 🙁

As above, costs a fortune in tips but worth it to keep the boys happy. Not a job I would want to be fair.

Amazon have been using Yodel for ages.

Our local delivery driver is now fine, but it took me a number of successive complaints to get him to that point as we disagreed over their belief that their policy of leaving goods in a "safe place" included abandoning my order on the path outside my house, in driving rain and in full view of the main road.

Yodel didnt deliver.

Amazon refunded already.

Almost like they sent it out knowing it would never get here in time....

+1 for Parcelfarce being shite. Last week they made 2 unsuccessful attempts to deliver a parcel and then left a card to rearrange delivery online. Unfortunately they did not leave a valid tracking number. Now friggin what?

I thought Amazon had sacked using Yodel. All orders I've had this year have been delivered by DPD. Missus had a delivery from Yodel other day and they left it out back in our barbecue. Quality stuff.

I had the invalid number with dhl last year.

After getting stern on the phone when they told me they couldnt help without a number they suddenly saw my side of the story.

Yodel are excellent always deliver within the time they say. Only beaten by DPD who are almost spot on to the nearest minute.
