Mine recently sold her loom to fund a new one, at no extra cost.

I recently sold my bike to fund a new one, at no extra cost*.

We had the exact same conversations about each different hobby - sometimes at the same time. So she'd be discussing her loom up grade and I'd reply to her talking about my bike upgrade.

She's a lot like me.

* she achieved her aim and only spent £20 extra, I'm about £200 down so far!

*please can you try and get your undies into the laundry basket and not just at the side of it.

Wouldn't it be easier just to move the laundry basket to the left a bit?

Mine is, er, complex.

Love her to bits. Amazing woman to achieve all she has despite her cerebral palsy. And having had to cope with me for the last 19 years. Great mum, dedicated professional in a very stressful job, dedicated Guide leader to a group of girls from a tougher part of town.

But there are days when we could cheerfully kill each other.....

This thread has contains no accurate data compared to the UK divorce and single status statistics ........ So who is going to give the elephant in the room a kick? Suppose it's me then - unbalanced, over emotional, reverse logic specialist, loves a restaurant on first visit - hates it second time, everything is an issue other than that she's great.

Been together 27 years as of last Monday.

Never once thought about leaving her / finishing it. Says it all really.

I do what I want, buy what I want, as does she. Our daughters (15and nearly 13) seem very well balanced, bright, and fun to be with.

One of my better life decisions.

I'm going out with the most amazing person I've ever met! He's loving, caring, very sexy and funny and has the patience of a saint.... Especially with me 😐 I can't imagine my life without him now so all I've got to do is try as hard as possible to not lose him..!.... (Historically not been great at doing that..)
I'm officially the luckiest woman in the universe I reckon 😀

Mine's a physicist, so less unbalanced than is normal for females, still nuts sometimes though. We've learned to ignore each other when we're grumpy, which seems to work OK.

I think she's rather tidy; clever, attractive and a gym bunny. We've been married 20 years, and planning on at least the same again.

Looks a damn sight better than I do at 43. Can be a pain in the arse, but the kindest person I know and my best friend in the whole world! A better person than I deserve...

Weren't you about 20 feet from Kate Bush this year?
Tell me you wore a T-Shirt with your phone number on at least?

I reckon I could have had her over my shoulder and out of the building in the time it takes her to sing the word 'wow'.

She is a star. The most gorgeous eyes and smile I've seen.
We would never answer each others personal ads if we were that way inclined. We just click. I knew the day we met I would marry her.
We work together so spend all day in each other's company and we haven't killed each other yet.
She's the first person anyone turns to in a crisis. We have a regular stream of customers in the office blubbing their eyes out while relaying their stories of woe. They all get good advice and seem to follow it.
Borderline horder though with abysmal time keeping.
Looks a bit like a sexy Super Nanny.

Mine's probably a bit mumsy for you lot, what with being a fantastic mum to my two girls and all, but she's still sexy as hell to me even though she thinks she isn't.

And she's going into hospital for a relatively big op next week, and will be out of action for about 6 weeks, and I'm scared as hell for her.

In addition to the above meant to say that she gave birth to our second baby with no pain relief whatsoever - a boy weighing 11lb 15ozs... although she wasn't smiling like that at the time 😀

Hmmm... I did think there was something odd about her smile. And now i see it. On the outside, it's a smile, but just behind the eyes there's something that says 'one day, you are going to pay for what you did to me big time'

I'd start running now.......

Mine is awesome too.

She lets me play on my bikes, is a fantastic mum and role model to our two lads, looks after me whilst making sure I never just coast along and is my best mate to boot.

She helped me through a really tough break-up without once demanding anything in return (which is how we met), she's the most patient person in the world, but when she's pissed off she's bloody terrifying.. she's also as hard as nails, had both boys without pain relief and once hospitalised her brothers ex missus for upsetting him 😯

I'd be absolutely bloody lost without her

However, my other-half-that-was-until-recently was a redhead. Oh yes, most definitely.. 🙂

The present MrFP is a complicated kinda guy. He can be gentle, kind and thoughtful, he can be grumpy obtuse and critical. He is always intense. In times of drama or crisis he can be a rock, in times of calm he can cause a storm.

He continually battles with anxiety, depression and OCD, yet he still has time for everyone. He plans adventures in the finest detail and then chooses to take me with him 🙂

It may not be the easiest relationship, but he is my friend, my partner in crime and the one I would always trust to look out for me.

To be honest, my missus does have her bad points, in the grand scheme though these are more than outweighed by the good..

I'm so far from perfect I can in no way criticise.

I have to admit to not really understanding the whole partner bashing which goes on, I don't subscribe to the 'don't get married it'll ruin your life' line.. it's the best thing I've done!

MrsCat is the rock upon which this family is built.
Love her to bits (not literally of course, that would be weird!)
Heartbreaking to see her in pain because of her back probs, maybe about to undergo her third bout of spinal surgery which means she'll be more metal than the original Terminator, and only half as nice to people who upset the boys.
Biggest brownest eyes and a giggle that sounds like bubbles coming up through treacle, irreplaceable and the best friend anyone could ever have.

A flipping legend! A very heavy night for me this week with clients and an endless glass of wed wine and no food meant that I made it home only for the room to spin like crazy as soon as I hit the pillow. I managed to NOT quite make it to the bathroom. Woke up in the morning feeling very rough and she'd cleaned it all up and managed to strip the bed around me as the remnants ended up on the pillow and duvet.

I came home the day after and she'd been and hired a carpet cleaner to get the red wine puke stains out...

She obviously wants someyhing, but nonetheless I was suitably impressed and reminded once again why I married her and managed to create three beautiful offspring to continue the gene pool..
