I didn't think i have any expertise - that would indicate that I thought I was an expert at something, and I'm not.

I'm reasonably good at and reasonably knowledgeable about a fair amount of different stuff, but I'd never call myself an expert, because Sods Law says that the moment I did, someone would come along who knew more.

Primarily, I'm pretty weak, I know a bit about customer service, clinical systems in Primary Care and, more recently, information government.

Secondarily, I've dabbled in a lot of bits and bobs so can speak with less authority about old F1, motocross, acting, boxing, and being athletically crap. I've done a bit of writing, had the odd picture published, failed to join the Royal Marines (twice) and done a parachute jump, so can sound knowledgable compared to someone who knows rock-all about them.

Tertiarily, I like to read a lot so can talk balls about loads of stuff.

On a hot day I can usually smell a grass snake before I find it.

I can often guess which rocks in fast-running streams host the eggs of a bullhead on their undersides.

I know the difference between the cry of a goshawk, peregrine and sparrowhawk

Can paint a bit. Teaching level.

Know my way around the Marches, South-West of England and mid-Wales. Like an unpaid tour-guide.

Very good with maps.

Expert camper

Can handle the care and education of 7-10 teenagers with complex learning needs (including those with profound autism) utilising a range of interdisciplinary methods (primarily TEACCH). A bit rusty now, but it's a skill.

Know a fair bit about cycling off-road as well as primary transport

Tertiary: Ewe-wrestling and veterinary assistance in the service of farmers with prolapsed cows

Think that's most of it. And chilli. I make the best chilli. Blow your ****** trumpet!
