I'm self isolating at the minute so looking for a good film to watch.Ive seen most.
Had a faint memory of a film I watch ages ago and wanting to know what it was.
Mole type spy film
Think made in last ten years
Based in Cold War era I think
I think at or near the end one of the main characters realises that his son was the mole he had been searching for when he sees a small wooden ornamental boat in his sons hotel room.
Like I said very vague memory of it.
Any help finding this film much appreciated.
Cheers

Not sure if its the one your after but if you haven't watched Tinker tailor soldier spy  you should . Cold war spy searching for the mole drama . If you have loads of spare time the tv series with alec guiness is excellent .

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy was the one I was thinking of, but I don't remember the detail about the hotel room. John LeCarrre would be a prime suspect for that kind of plot, Our Kind of Traitor also fits the timeframe.

Talking of spy films, anyone see Red Sparrow recently? Was really enjoying it, amazing looking film. But overall just kind of flopped.

Showgirls?

That film certainly featured a man who appeared to be searching for a mole.

That's not a bat, or a rat or cat.

Neither is it a gnu or a kangaroo.

Doesn't appear to be a goose, or a moose on the loose.

It seems to be currently residing in a hole....

I think we've hit the jackpot here boys!

Bridge of Spies is also great along with The Spy who came in from the Cold.

Also, Charlie Wilsons War which tells you everything that's wrong about american foreign policy and is hilarious too.
