What's this fell off then?

Our guess was maybe Muntjac deer.

Its a herbivore by the teeth. Looks like a sheep skull but rather small

Not quite right shape for a sheep/lamb. I think muntjac might be correct.
Look at the pocket areas in front of the eye socket...

Me and my son finded a fellen off head skul fing when he was small, i still has it in me garridge. It was sameish as what the OPs’ won is and is definitely a dear, cos we finded the rest of da skellington what the head felled off of. Ribs n that. Them’s in a Shimano shoe’s box them is.

I'm thinking muntjac.
It was exhumed by our dog Harold on a walk in a partially flooded meadow near the allotments in a town.

No sheep or goats around there but it's by the river so could be some kind of fish.
There are a good few muntjac around there though I've seen from my canoe so it seems more likely.

Still, I hope it'll be ok.
