What's the STW compact-camera-with-decent-zoom-du-jour?

Id be interested in peoples opinions of best compact for around £100 (if its not too cheeky to jam in on your thread)

hi, I'd avoid Panasonic Lumix as mine just died after 3 years. It was great when it worked but the auto focus has gone & googling the remedy, its q common. The zoom has gone as well & I looked after it.
I just sent my mate down to costco to get me a cheapie replacement.

I don't think you can go too far wrong with a canon. Either an IXUS or for more control a S100 or G12.
