For about 4 days the corner of my eye has been twitching or pulsing a little bit. It feels like there's something like an eyelash stuck in there but I've looked loads and can't see anything. It's not painful but is a bit distracting. What is it?

You've gone mad, like Dreyfuss in the Pink Panther. Have you been working with any comedy French detectives lately?

Seriously though, I do get this in various muscles around my body from time to time, I'd love to know exactly what it is.

Lack of magnesium.

Eat some almonds and/or bananas.

Well if it tiredness can cause it that'll be the reason!

Have you been working with any comedy French detectives lately?

Nope.

Have you been working with any comedy [s]French[/s] detectives lately?

Tiredness.

Which may be a result of stress.

My right eye's been doing it for a week or so... I have zero stress at the moment, but definitely need some sleep.

Stess. When I lost me job one of my eyes fluttered like a bat in a butty box for most of the day. Seeing this thread made me realise that it has stopped.

Has somebody in the office attached a piece of fishing wire to you eye-lid? And they're just giving it the occasional tug? Have a look around? Is there anyone who keeps giggling for no apparent reason?

I get the eye twitch when tired and/or stressed.

But I've got a new one in the last couple of days, a contantly wartering right eye, it's only the right and it's not bloodshot or sore so I don't think it conjunctivitus or irritated in some way that I can detect but it just keeps watering, I thought it might be cold/sinus related as blowing my nose seems to set it off a bit, not sure if it's tiredness I'm sort of used to not sleeping now...

could be my glasses prescription needs updating?

Three people have asked me if I'm OK in the office so far, concerned that I'm no coping or have some sort of Crisis on at home or something which is sort of reassuring, but you feel like a bit of a tit explaining that you are not crying you've just got a watery eye and you're not sure whats causing it...

suggestions?

Can't see anyone having a tug, and I'm not allowed to make innuendo at the ladies any more.

As with others I get it when stressed and worn out. Have you spotted some misaligned valves/tyre logos or a backward fork recently?

I love how the human body gives you more to deal with when it's the last thing you need at the time!

Could be 'dry eye' - see a optician or an eye specialist (ophthalmologist).

Normally stress + fatigue for me. Or a trapped moth. Been out riding recently?

Tiredness, stress + the obvious one, too much time on computers and STW forums.
