I don't like carrying much, so I have computer, pens, etc. at home and at work, and my bike lock lives at work. It's only a 15 minute ride each way, so I don't bother with special bike clothes or getting changed/washed at work (other than my shoes).
right now ive got my iPad, that Guy Martin book, another book called Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, a copy of Dirt magazine, some cheese moments and a packet of wet wipes to ensure sufficient sanitation from catastrophic abominations of the armatage shanks, a toothbrush and my headphones.
Everything on the bench was in mine.
