my current mobile is a cheapish android 9 bought from amazon (have had for a few years now) that is ok but the screen is coming away from the body for some reason (you can see the electronics in the gap).
just wondering what you might recommend as a new one for around £100 or less if possible?
ta 🙂
Motorola are usually good around that price.
Have a look on YouTube for Tech Spurt.
He reviews all the cheap mobiles
Have a look on Hotukdeals. Usually for ~£100 Xiaomi, or their sub-brand Redmi, rule the roost.
Motorola 'Gxx' whichever version hits your target price point, Amazon is worth a look.
I had a Motorola G9 for 2 years, recently gone up to a G10. Both are perfect, I cant see any reason to get a more expensive phone.Around £130 new, I got one 2nd hand, as new, from CEX for £100.

My current Redmi Note 10 Pro was £117 plus cashback on a Hotukdeal.
It's thoroughly brilliant, easily as good as the phones I've had before (S10e, Xperia xz1, Moto G). The only thing I don't like is it's not waterproof.
My Moto G31 was £135 (IIRC) and claims to be splash proof, also has pretty good battery life.
But yep, I'm a Moto G fan now after several underwhelming Sony's...
Got a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 in Dec for my son at £113.
Really good phone, but I think RRP is £180
Definitely better than my other son's Moto phone at an equivalent price.
So yeah definitely keep an eye on Hot UK Deals to see what pops up on offer.
