As per the title, I've been shaving my head, wet shaving down t'wood, for a couple of years now but just use the Lidl shark razor I had before I started on my head. Its fine but don't think it's very flexible. I only used to wet shave about once or twice a year when I need a reset before using it for my head so never really bothered with 'good' razors.

I think I just want some thing thats flexible, and comforms to the shape of my head a bit more. I'm thinking a Gillette pro glide might be the way to go?

Don't want de shavers though, can;t be arsed with all that.

If you're prepared to try electric rather than wet, the Remington RX5 specialist head shaver is excellent. Only caveat - it only works well if you use it regularly, any more than 3 or 4 days growth and it takes ages.  Keep on top of it though, with daily or every other day shaving and it's superb.  It's waterproof so you can use it in the shower if you want, or use it dry.

I've already got a whal aquablade that I can use in the shower, shaves to 0.2mm so that bits covered. I tend to use that when I've been lazy then wet shave for the full on shiny smooth look/feel!

Oh, and I didn't mean to write 'me head' in the title but it's too late edit now and it's doing me head in .....

Gillette fusion with nivea shaving gel works for me, 5 blades one side with a single blade on the back for the awkward bits

Usually get blades from costco when they're on offer, around £18 for 16 pack last time I bought some which is a lot less than I've seen them anywhere else

I use the Remington RX5 most of the time but if I want it smooth for a night out, I use one of these.

We use them at work for foil fades so we know they last and are reliable. I've tried wet shaving my head but its way harder to get it feeling smooth.

another Headblade user here. They last for ages, give a very smooth shave and I’ve not found anything else that gets anywhere near as close a shave.

I'm finding Gillette Mach 3 to be quite a good compromise for shaving the head currently.

The three blades are spaced a bit further apart than the five blade ones, which seems to clog up less. I typically shave my head twice a week, so its a bit longer.

Costco do 20 packs for £18 or something.

My absolute favourite ones are Venus though. The little flat handle at the end is very ergonomic for the back of the head, and the moisturiser pads are a nice touch. Not as cheap as men's stuff though.
