And there was me promising I'd never vote Lib Dem again...

I suppose I could have a pact with someone else regretting voting for the Tories who also doesn't want to have to tolerate any future daffodil flailing...

Previously voting Lib-Dem gave you the luxury of not being very likely to win. When they did some difficult choices had to be made. But I'll vote for them again.

If you don't want to listen to the Smiths, turn the radio off. Problem solved.

Do I abandon everything I ever stood for and pledged to do, or do I go for the the power high?

They're Call-me-Daves favourite band*, apparently. So you never know.

*In probably the same way that his favourite way to spend an evening is down the pub, his favourite food is fish and chips, his favourite holiday destination is cornwall and he's an Aston Villa fan. Jesus Christ! You vacuous PR gonk! How ****ing gullible do you think we are?

not that they have, of course. They pledged to do stuff if they won. They didn't.

Exactly where does it mention "if we win"?

good point and as he was in the government pressurising them should have been easy and not have involved voting for tuition fees and arguing for them

OT it is a price I am willing to pay for the country

ahem. Where's my petard? 😉

Perhaps they noticed that that one pledge was just silly to start with. I have no problem with people noting that they had been a numpty in the past and doing something to rectify it. NB Hora.

[pedant] they were gladioli, not daffodils [/pedant]

Well, I for one would see it as a win-win. I like The Smiths.
