I am off for my first MTB based camping trip of the year and I am like a giddy school boy getting my stuff ready for the off in the morning. 😀

Weather looks shite but I am not bothered in the slightest.

You.?

Got my son this weekend, off to a local cycle jumble first thing, then who knows? Ice skating, cinema, bike ride?

You're gonna get wet 😉

Probably spending more time on STW as is healthy, as I certainly don't feel too healthy.

Not quite catagorised as full-blown man-flu but doesn't feel like it's far off 🙁

As I'm super-mega-cool, I'm going to spend all day tomorrow playing board games. Then on sunday perhaps I may ride a bicycle.

Working in Prague this weekend. That Mamiya and Zenit are the only cameras I've ever used that have recoil, I'd get a tripod as well.

Mountain biking when I've finished my müesli. After 14 days skiing in the sun today is overcast which matters less on a bike.

Was supposed to be racing but the weather packed a major sad and cancelled today with no chance of a replay tomorrow either due to river levels. Poo. Oh well having a few beverages and fire going. Yes it is indeed summer in NZ !

Was meant to be spending the day up in the mountains, but have just spent a sleepless night racked with pain. just called my friend to cancel, and will be spending the day tucked up in bed with painkillers 🙁

Very glad I had a fantastic day out on the bike yesterday in the sun riding round the wild mountain roads of Snowdonia. Makes being ill today seem not so bad, and hopefully I'll be well enough for a ride tomorrow.

Off to black park tomorrow to try a bit of singlespeed racing in the pissing rain.. Have upped the gearage, as I've been informed that there's no hills.

Long run this morning, long ride tomorrow, then youngest daughter's birthday party. No prizes for guessing which of the 3 activities will be the most tiring!

Went to see Coast play in Winchester last night. Slept-in, did chores then a short ride on my much improved FSer. Cooking at the moment, then a film on telly

Not sure about tomorrow as a poor weather forecast.

Watched the Fighter last night, very good (totally excellent acting, worth a go even if you don't like boxing).

Nice ride this morning with the kids, rode a drop on my new Fargo that I'd never done on my On One 456!

Put up a new to us trampoline in the garden this afternoon, now cooking a nice blue cheese and poached leek tart for tea (from River Cottage Every Day).

Tomorrow might go for a quick blast in the morning then head over to Much Wenlock for the new Sunday craft and food market and a walk on the edge.

Hardtail fettling this morning plus serviced one rear shock. Ordered lots of bearings, seals, tools etc from Real World Cycling for pre-Alps fettling of full suss. First XC race of the season tomorrow morning at Woodbury. Looking cold and wet, and I'm not fit enough. 🙁

Teaching a half-model making short course all weekend - so not racing in round 1 of the fully sussed series at Woodbury common tomorrow (ahh bugger...) but as am suffering with tendonitis that's probably a blessing in disguise. Ho hum. 🙁

Did first road ride for some 6 months after knee problems which I've had since last May. Followed this by a relaxing sauna and short swim at my gym. So far no adverse reaction, and feeling pleasantly relaxed and satisfied.

Sunday may well involve watching the France v Ireland match.
