Mine would consist of these
A garage like this
[img]
[/img]
The 2 roadbikes I have , but the echo with anniversary Campag super record, rather than it’s Centaur it has now.
Cycles

A 650b Turner Flux, but in polished, like this Burner, with all the Enve kit
A 650b Ti or 953 stainless Cotic Soul, if only Cy would make one
Motorbikes
A cafe racer, like this
I do like the idea of a modern front end strapped to a classic frame.
And an R6 for the track days
Cars/Vans
One of these V8 Vantage Astons, for me and the Mrs to do our ‘spending the kids inheritance’ GT tour of Europe
And one of these for Track days/short fun rides on a Sunday/sprinting, although this will cost more than the bloody Aston !!!!
And one of these for ‘spending the kids inheritance’ in the UK ?
What’s on your list?
LOL, however that bike is really a Santa Cruz and they are a fortuuuune
Surely the dream garage is where you don't have to have a garage to work on your own car/bike?
Seriously, if you said I'd never have to fettle, or clean my bikes then I would love you long time.
Anyway, dream bike:
Dream road bike:
Garage, probably something like this, complete with my personal mechanic:
You can tell I should really be doing something else today instead of wasting my time on here.
Dreaming is not wasting time, it's planning your future!!
and that is a nice garage BTW
I love fettling, as much as riding TBH
I'd just stick a washing machine and dryer in it. Bollox to meaningless status symbols.
well id have
triumph twin for long distance trials and green laning ( its a noise thing
tricked out pre65 bsa bantam
honda 400/4 f1
ajs 350 comp
fantic 200
beta evo
orange 5 pro
specialized enduro
original clockwork orange
half a dozen haro BMX
and a coffee machine..
only need the last item and i ll have the lot.
I have a garage and driveway full of all I lusted for but what I really want is all my wife's shite removing from the garage so my road bike and turbo trainer etc and workbench could be put in there! 🙄
The redheaded vampire out of True Blood.
Dietrich Mateschitz' Hangar 7 at Salzburg airport wins.
Great Thread, am I allowed some time to think about it ?
Yes,take as long as you like, just make sure it's 'full of love' just to keep loddrik happy 😉
top garage is pointless, no ramp, no machine tools.
stick a bed in there and it''ll keep Loddrik happy..... 😉
ok fair enough!
Audi Rs4 in blue/black or a Bmw M3 the V8 one.
Bmw S1000r Hp4 fun bike
Honda Cbr 600f commuting bike
Orange five Pro
Audi A6 estate for the bikes.
That's all I desire. Infact a garage would be a dream come true, Infact a house NOT in Darwen town centre will do.
Toyota Landcruiser fully set up for overlanding
Porsche 911 GT3 RS
Audi RS6 Avant
decent mid-range roadbike, full susser and hard tail.
A mate has a 911 (997) GT3RS (3.8) in his garage, amongst the other amazing stuff.
No other dreamers?
Vortex - you made it a high hurdle with all the photos, we all have ideas just not pictures
Google is your friend Jambalaya 🙂
My brother had a Mk1 Escort RS2000 in his garage with 45k on the clock that hadn't moved for 24 years. He sold it 3 years ago for £1800 without giving me first dibs, the utter b4st4rd.
your joking
£1800!!!!
it should be more like £18K
A little odd maybe
But
5 gt turbo or Maybe the crazy group b version
Not sure I can improve my merlin road bike with record despite being 10 years old
More snap on tools
agreed with Vortex. Someone got a good deal.

And about 5 custom carbon FS bikes with geo other than all the cookie cutter crap on the market.
My ideal garage would be undescribable mostly,
However in there would be at least one of the following.
Ducati 916
Ducati 1098
Mv Agusta 312RR
Husqvarna SM510R
Jaguar XF
Range Rover
XLWB Mercedes Sprinter
Motorhome
Commencal Meta AM29
Superlightweight COTIC
Millions upon millions of tool.. all laid out perfectly, everything in a precise order and position.
Serveral motorbike ramps/workbenches
Coffee, cake and a fridge.
Car: In uber dream land, a Gumpert or Pagani, maybe a Lambo Reventon. In the(slightly) more real world an M5, Maserati Quattroporte or an R8 would do nicely. Alongside a collection Yank Muscle Cars, old and new..Mustangs, Camaros, Vette Stingray, Dodge Charger.
Motorbike: Easy, an MV Augusta F4 (my mate has one, its sex on 2 wheels).
Road bike - Id have my Canyon Ultimate SLX, but dripping in Dura Ace Di2 instead of its still rather nice Ultegra. And Zipp 404s.
MTB: I reckon an Intense Carbine 29 would do the trick.
Waiting upstairs: Sienna Miller, Lucy Mecklenburgh, my missus (seriously!!) and Charlize Theron. All of them.
Cars E type, Merc Pagoda and Range Rover
Bikes Vincent, New Norton and 749R
Cotic Soda 650b,XX1,Enve/DT wheels
Cotic Rocket 953/XX1/Enve/DT wheels
Turner DW DHR
English Cycles Superlight v3, DA Di2, selection of nice wheels
Enigma Etape winter bike
BMW E61 M5 Touring (bike carrier)
Jag F-type V8S coupe(A->B car)
Porsche 997 GT3RS 4.0 (track days)
Eagle E-type low drag (sunday afternoon cruising)
[/img]
Tools. Yes. Lots. Start off with the Facom catalogue, then add the Festo one in. All the Park & Campag bike specific stuff And some proper old machine tools - a lathe, milling machine, pillar drill etc.
Garage & workshop (aircraft hangar???) big enough to house it all!
Hmmmmm
Mine would be a wood workshop - with lots of light.
Something like this, or the one rogerthecat posted
It would have to come with someone to keep everything running smooth and sharp.
[/img]
I'm not that into cars, so I'd probably have a race van:
[/img]
But since we're talking dreams, it would have to run on something sustainable.
And maybe one of these just for fun:
[/img]
Bike-wise - god knows! Lots.
But since we're trying to create our future - perhaps just a house I could walk around in without bumping into piles of crap would be a good thing.
I'd need a large garage next to the sea, cos something like 'Mine Games' would be in it (occasionally)

That's cheating esselgruntfuttock !!!!
i quite fancy an f100 with a built big block and mint chassis and running gear but a scabby body as a daily driver
an old transit with similar treatment
plenty of bikes
motorbikes:
4xv
tz350g
reverse cyl tz250
v twin tz250
tz750
rd400
i would make a 500cc v twin and ally beam chassis with all the gear for track use
tools:
couple of 5 axis vf2/3
couple of 2 axis cnc lathes
miller trinity
complete set of jd2 tube bender dies and bender
3d laser scanner
couple of hot dang workstations with cad/cam etc
cmm
english wheel
and so on
Smogmonster's missus 😀
Smogmonster's missus
piccies?
Two definite inclusions in my garage would be an Audi Sport Quattro from circa 1985 and a Lancia Integrale HF Turbo. Something to play about with on the local back roads. Mate of mine recently had a Metro 6R4 which was great fun!
Bikes would have to be a Suzuki TL1000s and a Triumph T595. Also like a late '90's Fireblade to hoon about on?
Cycles would have to be a selection of carbon and titanium mountain bikes and any exotic (but relatively comfortable) road bikes.

That Ducati looks lovely, as does that road bike
really not bothered about cars, I'll have a van or a big estate and that'll do me
I would have a bike specific shed with racks, tools and spares area, power, a cleaning area outside etc.
I'd like a cargo bike and a disc brake road bike for winter and commuting, a full carbon rigid 29er something so that I can SS my current blue one for winter filthy rides or goin the pub
This place to put all of these beauties :)[img]

And all of the bikes obviously... ALL OF THEM!
E type, Triumph 160,140 export both in purple and white. A Tiger Cub for shopping, a midi van of some sort,Ariel atom from above, little Suzuki jeep for the snow, 90s ti kona and a 20lb full sus 29er.
And a fat bike.
My garage heading towards ideal but can always be improved. Got all the tools air compressor Tec.
In terms of contents I'd like
A caterham
A kit car project to build something like a Landis stratos
Series 2 landrover
Vw California
110 defender
Bikes
MY snippet
Blur c classic
Carbon road. Bike
Cx Bike
To
Thomthumb, love that Unimog!
For me, any early 911, just basic, boggo engine wheels and body. Just a raw car, bit dangerous!
[/img]
The blackest Citroen DS I could find!
I love motorbikes, but I just don't seem to lust after specific models.
Garage-wise, I think I'd just like the means to produce anything I fancied, nice old Bridgeport mill, decent Lathe, decent 200Amp TIG, all you need!
I do like that Norton 😀
I feel a ban hammer coming......
why?
are we not allowed to post pictures of Infiniti cars? 😉
I'm assuming we're talking "holy sh!t - Bill Gates left me everything???" dream garage, rather than anything I'm in with a shout of genuinely fulfilling? Good - I've had a very enjoyable few hours thinking about this over the weekend. 🙂 This is just for starters, I'm sure more will occur...
Porsche 917. This has been the coolest car on earth for me since I was a boy. Probably too scary to drive in anger for a normo like me, this beast wouldn't do much more than the annual Goodwood outing.
[/img]
Ferrari 312PB. My weapon of choice for classic Le Mans and "winning" at race car track days.
[/img]
(Maybe not the most illustrative picture - but nuts was it that they raced events like the Targa with cars like those and the public that close? )
Lotus 49. Gotta have some F1, haven't you? Low tech high tech was never any cooler - elegant simplicity personified.
[/img]
Ferrari 250GTO. Perfect for the run to Tesco. THE classic GT, as happy popping for a pint of milk as it is howling round Spa.
[/img]
Brabham BT45. I don't think F1 has ever been as cool since ground effects came to the fore - until that point, you kind of thought that, with a bit of practice, you could have some fun in one. Since that epoch, I think they've been out of the reach of mortals - a Martini-sponsored Brabham was as beautiful as they ever got.
[/img]
Renault 5 Gordini Turbo. The daily runaround - original and even a little scruffy to the eye, underneath she'd be tweaked and tricked out, a more modern interpretation of the four-pot turbo, taught to handle and stop with a decent radio. Has to be yellow and black. With yellow headlights.
[/img]
Aston Martin DB5. Mrs Pondo's Sunday car. She can have whatever else she wants, too, but this is the one I know about - let's face it, it's not an ugly car, is it?
[/img]
Aston Martin Vanquish. Gotta have a Grand Tourer, haven't you? The weapon of choice for runs to the yacht parked in Monaco harbour. Might even be tempted by the Volante, if that's not too hairdresser - metallic BRG, either way.
[/img]
Caterham 7 620R. The hooliganmobile. For track days and the odd bit of Sunday lettin-her-rip action.
Probably not in purple.
[/img]
Triumph Speed Triple R. The everyday road bike. Not a pretty bike but versatile, fast and fun - white please.
[/img]
Aprilia RS250. Old-school hooligan tool. Uncompromised giggle machine, suitable for track days and sunny summer runs.
[/img]
KTM SX125. If I fancy a bit of motocross, that's the tool for me. Four strokes are for sight-seeing - if you want a race bike, pre-mix is the way forward. Do they still do a 125 SXS...?
[/img]
Ducati Desmosedici. If you're going to have a track bike, have a track bike. Although a CBR600 may be a smidge more accessible.
[/img]
Vincent Black Lightning. My old dad had a Black Shadow back in the day, and I always thought that was the coolest retro bike. The Lightning was a slightly hotter and muc rarer version - only 30-odd ever made.
[/img]
The cafe racer. Gotta have a cafe racer, innit?
[/img]
Suzuki RM125/250. My evo 'crossers - Rob Herring was my hero as a boy, so I'd have a brace of '89s made up in TTS livery for Evo racing. (Thinking about it, that might be '90 as I think he was number 5 in '89)
[/img]
Colnago C59. Touch of class.
[/img]
Orange Five 29er. The full sus XC bike. Always had a soft spot for Orange.
[/img]
Yeti 303 WC. The downhill tool. If it's downhill we're talking,
John Tomac is my reference point. Although this thing doesn't look right without dropped handlebars.
[/img]
Stanton Slackline Ti. Gotta have something in Ti, haven't you - the hardtail seems the perfect choice.
[/img]
Orange C16r. The retro ride. And the one thing in this list I already have.

(Not my frame, but same colour)
To put it all, a garage a bit like Jay Leno's -
[img]
[/img]
It'll need to be that big to fit the Beechcraft and the Augusta.
And to finish it off, one of these.

Moto Guzzi MGS 01 & a van to take it to various tracks over the year would do me 🙂
I'm assuming we're talking "holy sh!t - Bill Gates left me everything???" dream garage, rather than anything I'm in with a shout of genuinely fulfilling? Good
I was thinking of more the later, i.e. have a chance of filling, with me it would have to be well into retirement though 🙁
But your list pondo is awesome and that Lotus is truly a thing of beauty.
Keep em coming, STW doesn't seem to have too many dreamers 😕
Great list Pondo but an SX150 is what you need, not the 125. 😉
