For the purpose of research what way do you face in the shower ? I tend to twirl never quite happy with front water splash nor back water splash.
I think front would be better !
Are you a front or rear ???
Back to shower. Unless it's an overhead of course.
Depends what the prison's like.

Yep, I am a twirler too, always have always will be I suppose.
Back to the shower , its like back to the future only wetter .
When I'm soaping up I stay out of the main shower flow. After that it's face on: I love the feeling of a powerful shower. Obviously I twirl to ensure all areas are washed.
Depends if I'm having a piss or not.
Depends if I’m having a piss or not.
This is especially important when sharing the shower
Back to shower. I think this started to prevent the discomfort of shampoo run off in the eyes. It's an ingrained habit now.
Back to the shower....
Singing into the showerhead like it's a microphone.

Depends who I'm sharing the shower with...
Facing the shower to start ..then back to shower to ensure everywhere is rinsed properly ..
As far away as possible. Just installed a 9.5kw shower, don’t fancy getting electrocuted.....
Back to it, otherwise you're just standing staring at the wall.
Ours is an overhead one so it makes no difference to where the water goes anyway.
Back to shower for tackle and leg washing, front to shower for back and bum washing.
Shower overhead but back to wall just in case there's a Psycho moment.

Facing my bike...that beast got me manky and I'm cleaning myself, it should do the same (and save me the job!).
The front facers must lower the shower aim to shoulder height or shower with their eyes scrunched up the whole time?
Down.
Front facer here ( already posted) ..the shower head is not an immovable object and starts angled at the top of my head for a general all over soaking ..then gets moved down for a full face blast ..to wake myself up ..I then move myself & it around to rinse whichever part I have washed ..back to full height ( the shower head ) to finish ..
I tend to start facing with head down and then turn around as I wake up.
Mine is an overhead rain jobby, so I tend to look out towards the light.
Back to the shower. Spin around as necessary to get everywhere wet. Step out of the flow to lather up. Step back ina nd spin around to rinse then back to shower to contemplate life and the fact that it's going to be cold stepping out.
I was in a hotel with a stupidly low fixed height shower head last week, had to properly squat to get underneath it (I'm 6ft2 so not a complete freak). I now have a scab on my forehead where I shampooed up and then promply headbutted the edge of the shower head while trying to duck back under it with my eyes closed.
